This publication shows why sexist and anti-feminist ideologies are a core element of extremist ideologies and movements. Anti-feminist and sexist ideologies are by no means less worrying or radicalizing than other anti-egalitarian ideas of extremist ideologies. In extremism prevention that is tasked with preventing violence as it is tasked with dealing with anti-democratic ideologies and movements, discussions about sexism and anti-feminism should play a pivotal role.
